YouLive
A social technology platform where live streaming, entertainment and community meet.
Overview
YouLive is a social technology platform built around live streaming, digital entertainment, content creators and audience engagement. Founded by Ahmad Athamneh in 2019, it belongs to a fast-moving category of the consumer internet: real-time, participatory media.
Unlike recorded content, live streaming is an event. It rewards presence, spontaneity and interaction, and it creates a relationship between creator and audience that is closer to a gathering than to a broadcast. YouLive is designed around that relationship.
Industry context
The creator economy has transformed entertainment from an industry of a few studios into an ecosystem of many independent producers. Live streaming sits at the most interactive end of that ecosystem, where audiences do not only watch but participate — through chat, gifting, co-hosting and community rituals.
In the Arab world, young and highly connected populations have embraced live formats quickly. Yet many global platforms were not designed with the region's languages, cultural norms and payment realities in mind, leaving room for products that start from local understanding.

Strategic vision
The strategic vision for YouLive is a platform on which creators can build sustainable livelihoods and audiences can find genuine community — supported by technology that is reliable in real time and governance that keeps the space safe and welcoming.
That vision depends on three disciplines held in balance: a product that performs under the pressure of live interaction, an economic model that rewards creators fairly, and community standards that protect the trust on which every social platform ultimately rests.

Founder's role
As Founder and CEO, Ahmad leads YouLive's overall direction: product strategy, technology leadership, the design of the creator economy model and the platform's approach to community. His background — combining software development with regional digital-marketing experience — shapes a company that treats engineering quality and audience understanding as equally strategic.
